Communication: We try our best to answer all calls, emails & messages received between 8.30-5.30pm (Monday – Friday). If contact is made outside these hours we will respond the following day. Please feel free to leave your cleaner a message or note if you require anything different on your cleaning day. You can also email or message via the Facebook page.
Your cleaner: We can not guarantee that you will have the same cleaning tech on each visit, however we make every effort to offer as much consistency as possible. If your cleaning tech is ill or something unexpected crops up you will be offered the choice of cover or rescheduling.
Conduct: We will always be respectful in your home. There is no smoking or lunch breaks in your home. Also we will not answer your phone. Our only purpose while in your home is to clean.
Confidentiality: JHCleaning Services agrees to keep clients keys and all other personal information secure & confidential.
Our guarantee: We have built our business on reputation by providing our clients with the best service possible. Still, we are only human and from time to time something may get missed. Should this happen, message us within 24 hours and we will make a note to rectify this at no charge to you.
Supplies: Fresh microfibre cloths are used in each room to prevent cross contamination. All Supplies are disinfected after each home is cleaned. This provides an additional layer of preventing cross contamination. To avoid the transference of dirt we recommend you supply a good working vacuum and mop/bucket. If a vacuum or mop/bucket is not supplied we will use our own.
Arrival time: We try our best to be at the clients homes at the times agreed. However some things can crop up at the last clients home, or we could get stuck in traffic. Please be mindful of this.
Scheduling Changes: We always do our best to stay on schedule! If a change is necessary, we will let you know as soon as possible and would ask for you to do the same. You can contact myself or your cleaning tech to schedule a change. If you are going on holidays, rather than cancel, the opportunity is there to get some deeper cleaning done in your home. Such as cleaning the refrigerator or oven. Organising or frames and baseboards etc.
Picking up: You do not need to clean for the cleaner! However the more organised you are, the better job we can do for you. Tidying children's toys away or picking up laundry etc off floors is a big help. The better your space is picked up, the better job we can do for you. If you can not get things organised before we come, no problem, just know we will clean what we are able to get to.
Payment: Payment by cash or bank transfer is due in full on the day of your service. We no longer accept cheque. You may also pay for the entire month up front. Please note that any payments not received will now incur a late fee.
Late cancellation/lockout/ turn away: We allocate a block of time for the cleaning of your home. If you request a schedule change, we require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to avoid a cancellation fee. If we do not receive a phone call or message 48 hours of your cleaning time, or we are locked out. You will be charged half the price of your scheduled cleaning. If we are turned away at the door, you will be charged the full price of your scheduled cleaning. Your time slot is yours, it is reserved for just you. If you cancel last minute it cannot be filled.
Accidents: An accident in your home could always happen, if something gets broken we will let you know straight away. We will do our best to reimburse or replace the item. Please keep us informed of any items we should avoid cleaning or any items of ill repair in your home. E.g. Loose handles, photos/mirrors not hung tidy in the walls.
Holidays: If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you in advance to reschedule. E.g. Bank holidays, Christmas, New Year
Pets: We can clean your home with pets at home. However, due to potential health risks we do not clean litter boxes etc.. If your pet is aggressive, it will need to be absent from the areas we will be cleaning.
Extra needs: We are happy to do extra tasks around your home every now and again. Please speak with myself or your cleaning technician so we can allocate extra time when needed.
